Purpose and profit

Making money out of money and maximizing profits irrespective of the quality of the products and the working conditions for people have characterized the capitalist narrative. A crucial difference exists between the amount of value created by companies and the amount of money they generate.

If businesses are judged by the amount of money created, then the metric is money. If judged based on the ability to produce products and services that genuinely benefit people, then the metric is purpose. How do business leaders merge purpose and profit into a good business is the hallmark of great entrepreneurship?
