Purpose vs passion. Which comes first?

Most people spend their lives in pursuit of discovering their passions.

The fact is that purpose ignites passion not vice versa.

People try hard to ignite their passions, but they fail. Knowing what you truly stand for sparks off passion. Nelson Mandela’s purpose, Former President of South Africa was to end apartheid and achieve freedom and equality for all south -Africans.

His purpose ignited his relentless passion to achieve his purpose. Mandela served 27 years in prison to achieve his purpose not his passion.
