As the Fourth Industrial Revolution is knocking at everyone’s door, pushed and accelerated by the pandemic to embrace the new world of remote working and social distancing, the human cost already felt in locking people down in their rooms. A year of lockdowns and restrictions on the movement of people has provided the answer, automating systems, machines, and processes is possible, but not human and social interaction that characterizes the very true nature of human beings.
Technology facilitates things and connects us. This is true to a certain extent. Facebook has failed miserably to replace the face to face interaction. Why are billions of people around the world striving to exit the imposed lockdowns and get back to freedom? The human race cannot thrive remotely.
