Wishful vs practical thinking

I wish nothing bad will happen. I hope things get better. What if they get worse? I did what I had to do and other things are not under my control, so I should not be worried. To a certain extent you’re right. Have you considered your position if things get really out of your control. Plan for the worst and hope for the best. This is what differentiates wishful from practical thinking. Most people just hope for the best, but they are planless when they encounter the worst. Plan, get ready and accept the worst case scenario will help you avoid a surge of emotional and psychological shocks.

This post is dedicated to my bestie A.Makkieh. What an inspiring discussion today. Keep up the good work man.
