The leader’s mind.

The leader’s mind may be defined in the spirit of upholding unquestionable beliefs about the world and translating those beliefs into action. The power of the leader’s beliefs and action induce and inspire people to cooperate with him or her. An important part of the leader’s mind is that it does not dictate or use power to rally people. This is the most difficult fact that managers find hard to assimilate. The truth is that back of all the privileges of a title for managers, there is an emptiness that could be filled with beliefs. This accounts for the major distinction between the leader’s mind and the manager’s mind. The leader’s mind is powered by beliefs, whereas the manager’s mind is powered by authority.
