Whether in business or when having a causal conversation with someone, over persuasion belittles the value you are trying to add or create. Be bold, clear and quick to the point when you voice your ideas, insights and offerings, if yours are similar and correspond with theirs, the real conversation starts. If over doubters are the crowd, change and seek the right audience. If they are likeminded, but they see it differently, debate it. It is a good opportunity. The most common mistakes marketers and sales people make is that they talk to the wrong audience and they persist to persuade them, frustration dominates and no one wins.
