Leadership not management skills.

Most managers have learnt the skills of managing capital, assets, or systems but they have never been taught how to inspire and look after people. What they have learnt is the art of management and the ability to generate results that are interpreted as beneficial to the senior management.

Leadership presents a fundamental task: How do leaders remain focused on purpose, people, and the overall positive impact. Learning how to lead is such a way is the key to thinking like a successful leader.
